We absolutely loved this transformation as we had the unique opportunity to design and renovate our client's barn into a home office/guest house. We wanted to incorporate as much character and nod to it's previous-use, to still give the sense it is within a barn. We repurposed the horse metal-stall doors into sliding barn doors for the bathroom and guest bedroom. Between the polished concrete floors, painted exposed trusses, and stained rich ebony wood within the repurposed barn doors, we aimed to keep as much character and rustic charm throughout. The bathroom received a statement striped-shower with a pedestal sink and masculine sconces + belted mirror. The exterior was revamped with board and batten, and included a new insulated grid-barn door to allow for as much natural light and the option for indoor-outdoor living while our client is working in his office space. The exterior included new landscaping to make the most of the view of their gorgeous farm, the perfect farmhouse barn space to enjoy!
