Ingrid and Joel, the owners of Motionworx Physiotherapy had a vision for their space that consisted of "water meets mountain" which included of soft blues, beachy sand-toned vinyl plank floors, and a mix of treatment rooms that highlighted a "water or woods" scheme. We had so much fun pulling the colours and textures together, and surrounded the design around highlighting local artists and craftsmanship. Throughout the clinic, we have art by Sarah Gagnon which offers stunning BC landscapes which lent to the mountain feel, in contrast with some gorgeous custom woodwork and art by Eternal Timber. Over the reception desk, we incorporated a custom live-edge light fixture, and a custom sign with the Motionworx logo for their clients first impression into the clinic. We included a stunning concrete-ledge stone to accent throughout for added texture within the space.

Ingrid and Joel wanted each treatment room to feel relaxing and calm for their patients, with this, we continued a calm neutral palette throughout and a pop of muted-blue or moss-green above the room mouldings in each treatment room. Every single detail circled back to their core values and passion towards helping others, it was an absolute joy working with them on their clinic design.
