This project was truly one-of-a-kind. Our client desired a customized space from top to bottom with futuristic-modern + masculine-glam details. This high-impact space includes large format slabs of luxurious black marble, stainless steel and chrome accents, rich lacquered wood, and a custom engraved shower door detail. Our client loved mood-lighting, & since he loves a customized feel, we opted for a detail that hasn't been done before; We designed a custom toe-kick recess to surround the entire room to house a concealed LED ribbon light that continued into the shower and gave the room an overall glow. We added dimension with vertical wood paneling to highlight the high-end TOTO washlet toilet. The vanity includes a white marble slab from floor to ceiling, which continued under the floating vanity. The vanity features a custom steel-framed mirror that included a built-in TV for an upscale tech-vibe. The bedroom connected to the bathroom received an update which consisted of a 'wow-factor' accent wall with rotating wood panels that give a geometric effect within the direction of the wood grain. Our client loves bold pops of colour where possible, and insisted on the daring green carpet which gave the room personality + paired with the black marble felt very glamorous. The walk-in closet includes floor to ceiling display shelves with lighting to highlight our client's shoe collection. Overall this design was one-of-a-kind, and was awarded Nationally as the Best Bathroom in Canada 2020, through the Canadian Home Builders Association for the National Awards for Housing Excellence.
