Edgy Bold Bathroom Renovation

This bathroom renovation was for Hannah's home!  The overall goal was to create a stylish, sophisticated-bold yet playful space. We wanted to incorporate details that left a wow-factor with a ton of personality playing off bold patterns and high contrast for a super dramatic effect. Considering texture contrast between surfaces throughout, we offered balance between matte floor tiles, raw concrete counters, and alternating polished + matte striped wall tiles. We fell in love right away with the dramatic black veining in the tiled floors, and incorporated a striped shower wall for a masculine feel, with feminine styling details that offer balance and warmth to the space. We designed a wall-to-wall niche to fit perfectly between the stripes that not only offered practical storage but an interesting detail for added depth. The existing floor plan did not change apart from the open shelves beside the tub, which previously was wasted space that included a small medicine cabinet. Tapping into this space provided much more storage and display for perfume and makeup display + wicker basket storage above.
